Bradford County’s Community Development Department offers incentives to low-income individuals and families to assist with home repairs or with the purchase of a home.
If you are interested in applying, you must first sign your name to our waiting list. Our office is located in Suite E of 925 North Temple Avenue in Starke, Florida. You will be contacted to let you know when funds become available.
Purchase Assistance funds can be used for the down payment and closing costs associated with the purchase of a home. You must complete our homeownership classes and be pre-approved with your first mortgage lender before your SHIP application will be approved.
Repair Assistance funds can be used for home repairs related to health, safety, and sanitation.
