Office of the County Attorney
The Office of the County Attorney for Bradford County, Florida provides a wide range of legal advice and services to the Board of County Commissioners of Bradford County, Florida. In addition to advising the Board of County Commissioners, the County Attorney assists the County Manager, department heads, personnel and various Bradford County agencies regarding matters pertinent to their business and operations. In many cases, absent conflicts, the Office of the County Attorney also provides legal advice and representation for Bradford County’s other Constitutional Officers.
William E. Sexton
William E. Sexton is the Bradford County Attorney. He was appointed by the Board of County Commissioners on July 1, 2013. Prior to Mr. Sexton’s appointment as Bradford County Attorney, he provided legal services to Bradford County while working at an outside law firm. Mr. Sexton is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. in political science and history, 2003) and the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law (J.D. 2006).
